ABOF Restaurant & Tea Lounge - tranquility and timelessness surrounds the restaurant, a feel from the minimalist deco and apparent white ratten chairs which puts one in a relaxed mood. Here, Nordic fare is made more interesting because the chef has blended it with Asian dishes to make it an unusual gastronomic fusion. Everything about the restaurant is inspired by Scandinavia, right down to the décor.
Scandinavia itself is already a multinational entity comprising Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Its culinary richness must also be interesting... The simple, spacious ambience of the restaurant makes it an excellent place for busy executives who are in need of a fragrant pot of tea or a simple bowl of soup to recharge or relax. It remains to be seen if Scandinavian cuisine will take off in Singapore. However, ABOF certainly has some very good dishes, and if diners go in with an open mind, they might just be pleasantly surprised.
