AeroSvit Airlines opened our doors in 1994, being among the first Ukrainian airline companies to offer its passengers comfortable flights on modern Boeing aircrafts and provide them with high levels of service. By 2005, its fleet consisted of tvelve modern aircraft: A Boeing 737-200, two Boeing 737-300's, five Boeings 737-400's, two Boeing 767-300ER and two Boeing 737-500's.

Aerosvit Airlines Flight network covers eleven Ukrainian cities and serves the most popular routes used for business and leisure purposes, such as vacations or visits to relatives. AeroSvit offers 40 destinations in 23 countries of the world.

The AeroSvit Airlines is a private corporation with 62 percent of shares belonging to Ukrainian shareholders. The shares are distributed as follows: 22 percent are held by the State Property Fund of Ukraine, 40 percent are held by CJSC Aerotour - Agency for Air Communications and Tourism (Ukraine) and 38 percent belong to Gilward Investments B.V. (the Netherlands).

Within the agreement on joint exploitation of the Airlines, AeroSvit Airlines closely cooperates with such leading European airlines as Malev, Olympic Airways, CSA, LOT, UIA, Air Baltic, and Estonian Air. AeroSvit Airlines has also signed up to 90 interline agreements with other airlines, including the leaders in this field such as Delta, Lufthansa, Finnair, British Airways, Austrian Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Air Canada, and so forth. Thus, now you can buy AeroSvit tickets anywhere in the world.

AeroSvit Airlines' flexible price range makes the service it offers competitive and attractive for its customers. The airline also tries to arrange the departure timetable for transit flights to save you time during interchange at the transit airport.

Flight safety and reliability is ensured by the annual three-week aircraft maintenance in the best maintenance centres in Western Europe. The flight crews of AeroSvit Airlines regularly attend training courses at Olympic Airways (Greece) and Czech Airlines (Czech Republic).

Every pilot also spends around 600 hours in the air annually. AeroSvit Airlines's technical staff goes through annual theoretical and practical trainings at Boeing (USA), Aeroplex (Hungary), and Olympic Airways (Greece).

AeroSvit Airlines is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). All its passengers are insured with the leading insurance companies. In October 2001, special air safety regulations were put in force.

Fleet

AeroSvit Airlines's fleet includes many Boeing aircraft, which are known to be the most reliable and safe aircrafts in the sky. The company has been purchasing Boeings since October 1994.

In 2005, AeroSvit Airlines has tvelve modern aircraft: A Boeing 737-200, two Boeing 737-300's, six Boeing 737-400's, two Boeing 737-500's, and two Boeing 767-300ER's.

The Boeing family differs from other aircraft manufacturers by a high level of reliability and air safety. Two AeroSvit Airlines Boeing 737-500's have comfortable leather seats. Boeings 767-300ER correspond to all international requirements that must be observed on intercontinental flights. It is the only aircraft in Ukraine that has triple redundancies for all main systems responsible for survival of the airplane. For your listening and viewing pleasure, the aircraft is also furnished with modern digital video and audio equipment.

Every year, the aircraft of AeroSvit Airlines undergo full three-week maintenance in the best service centres in Western Europe.
