Aerolineas Argentinas is Argentina's largest domestic and international airline. It is the national airline and carries around 80% of Argentina's domestic traffic and 40% of international flights from Ministro Pistarini International Airport, which is located in Ezeiza, Buenos Aires. Aerolíneas Argentinas and LAN are the only Latin American airlines that fly to Oceania.
Annually, the airline has a revenue of US$1,100 million, carries 5.5 million passengers and has 5,400 employees.
Aerolineas Argentinas holds stakes in the local airline Austral Lineas Aereas (AU), founded in June 1971. AU serves almost thirty destinations within Argentina with a fleet of McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32s and MD-80s. There are plans to integrate Austral.

Aerolineas Argentinas is the flag-carrier responsible for regional and long-haul intercontinental passenger and cargo services, together with domestic trunk routes. International destinations are Asuncion, Auckland, Bogota, Cancun, Caracas, Frankfurt, Lima, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Miami, Montevideo, New York, Orlando, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, Santa Cruz, Santiago, Sao Paulo and Sydney.
