Air 2000 is the third-largest holiday charter airline in the United Kingdom, serving all the main European and North African resorts around the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands from fiften United Kingdom and Irish airports, mainly for its owner First Choice, but also for more than 120 other charterers. Long-haul charter flights across the Atlantic to Mexico and the Caribbean, and to Sri Lanka and Thailand in the Far East. Scheduled leisure routes to Alicante, Faro, Lanzarote, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife. Some aircraft are leased out during the winter period.
Annually, Air 2000 has a turnover of US$500 million, carries 6.6 million passengers and has 2,650 employees.
