Air Canada, is Canada's largest domestic and international full-service airline and the largest provider of scheduled passenger services in the domestic market, the transborder market and each of the Canada-Europe, Canada-Pacific, Canada-Caribbean/Central America and Canada-South America markets. Passenger transportation is the principle business. Headquartered in Montreal, Air Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of ACE Aviation Holdings Inc. (ACE).
Together, Air Canada and Jazz (Canada's largest regional carrier, another subsidiary unit of ACE; www.flyjazz.ca) operate an extensive domestic, transborder and international network. With its regional airline subsidiary, Air Canada Jazz, the airline provides scheduled and charter air transportation for passengers and cargo to more than 150 destinations, vacation packages to over 90 destinations, as well as maintenance, ground handling and training services to other airlines. Today, Air Canada is the 14th largest commercial airline in the world.
Air Canada also operates an extensive global network in conjunction with its international partners. Air Canada is a founding member of the Star Alliance, the world's largest airline alliance group.
Including Air Canada Jazz services in Canada and the United States, the airlines operate on average 1,300 scheduled flights each day and serve approximately 27 million customers annually. Air Canada employs approximately 33,000 people worldwide including 3,500 at Air Canada Jazz.

Frequent Flyer Program
Air Canada's frequent flyer program, Aeroplan, a subsidiary of ACE, is Canada's most popular loyalty program. Over 5 million members earn miles toward reward travel to destinations served by Air Canada, Jazz and other regional and worldwide partner airlines.
Destinations
Air Canada provides service to 69 Canadian cities, 50 destinations in the United States and 54 cities in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Mexico and South America.
Air Canada offers the most non-stop flights between Canada and Latin America including new service to Lima, Peru this fall.
Fleet
Air Canada's fleet consists of 335 aircraft, including the Air Canada Jazz fleet of 135 aircraft (as of October 2006).
