Bubor Cha Cha Edit page

From Singapore Hotels & Singapore Lifestyle

Bubor Cha Cha is a Peranakan dessert that is served either hot or cold. It consists of cubes of cooked sweet potato, yam and coloured tapioca flour paste in sweet coconut milk. The tubers should be soft and a little crumbly so you do not have to chew too much on them. On the other hand, the flour paste cubes should be chewy so that you have a contrast between the two. Some places add pandan leaves into the coconut milk, while others use gula melaka instead of sugar to sweeten it.
