Asian Fusion Restaurants - very interestingly, there is a growing breed of Restaurants that feature an alluring combination of oriental and occidental cuisines, offering unusual dishes which combine Asian flavours with Continental styles and methods of preparation, or Western ingredients cooked using Asian techniques. Whilst the results may be hit or miss, the fare is always interesting - imagine a soy- and wasabe-flavoured salad dressing over crisp Romaine lettuce, or grilled vegetable-stuffed tofu, drenched in miso sauce. Increasingly, fusion or what has become known as New Asian food, is finding new fans among the culinarily challenged, and restaurants offering this cuisine are definitely worth exploring.
