CityLink Mall is the unique retail component of the One Raffles Link development. This air-conditioned underground shopping mall houses over 50 stores, including restaurants and cafes, and makes a great rainy day route. Linking City Hall MRT Station to One Raffles Link, Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, Marina Square, Millenia Walk, Suntec City and the Marina Mandarin Singapore, The Oriental, Singapore, Ritz-Carlton Millenia, and Pan Pacific Singapore, is this air-conditioned 350-metre subterranean shopping mall.
The development sits on a pivotal site within the extended downtown area. To the east is Marina City, an area of offices, hotels, leisure and shopping constructed on reclaimed land; to the west is the City Hall area, the civic zone which includes Parliament House, the Supreme Court, City Hall and St Andrew's Cathedral. To the South lies the CBD, the financial and business district of Singapore focused on the skyscrapers clustered around Raffles Place on the bank of the Singapore River.
CityLink Mall is the first underground mall in Singapore, jointly designed by world-renowned Kohn Pedersen Fox (from New York) and LPT Architects. Daylight is delivered to the space by glazed pavilions sited on the War Memorial gardens, which creates a bright and cheery feel. This tunnel of retail features a wide variety of shops including a Links of London, a Lee Hwa Jewellery store, a Dymocks bookshop, HMV and a speciality cigar shop called Acanta. The shopping mall was officially opened in year 2000.
Occupying some 60,000 sq ft of retail space, offers international fashion names, exquisite gifts & accessories, home accessories and some of the best eateries in Singapore. CityLink Mall has more then 60 shops offering a variety of products, services and eateries including restaurants, fashion, music, gifts, designer stationery, accessories, premium chocolates and more.
