Doc Cheng's was voted as the restaurant with the best dining experience by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) in 2000. This internationally acclaimed, award-winning themed restaurant features Western cuisine created with an Asian twist, using the region's cooking techniques, spices and ingredients.

The restaurant lives up to its accolade. Decked out with curtained booths, high ceilings, soft lighting and chequered tiles, the atmosphere is discreetly colonial, but the food is decidedly modern.

Doc Cheng's is one of Singapore's most innovative restaurants blending Asian Cuisine with European Cuisine. The chefs manage constantly to surprise with their creations which are light, yet fully flavoured. The miso butterfish is unbelievable, while the wasabi-crusted veal is a surprisingly good fusion creation. The S$39 weekday set lunch is good value.
