Singapore Festivals

Singapore Festivals - with its multi-racial character, it's no surprise that Singapore is a constant hive of activity, celebrating one cultural festival to the next throughout the year.
The most spectacular festival in Singapore is Thaipusam, occurring in the Hindu month of Thai (January or February), followed by Chinese New Year (also in February) and Deepavali (October or November). If eating is one of your major concerns, March and April are good times to visit to coincide with the Singapore Food Festival; for Shoppers, visit in June and you'll catch the month-long Great Singapore Sale.
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) puts out a useful pamphlet every year detailing all the Events - Cultural, Religious and Sporting - coming up that year.
