Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodles offers the legendary Bak Chor Mee from Hill Street Shopping Centre which has since closed. One of the best in Singapore, the noodles, served in a big bowl, are springy and the sauce is just the right balance of savoury and sour. You are likely to encounter long queues during lunchtime so be prepared to wait at least half an hour. Otherwise, try going at off-peak hours.
