Indochine Waterfront
From Singapore Hotels & Singapore Lifestyle
|
Indochine Waterfront offers boutique fine-dining authentic Indochinese cuisine at its peak. A world-class restaurant, Indochine is surrounded by Buddha statues and with one of the finest views of the Singapore River to the Central Business District (CBD) and the Fullerton Hotel. It's often packed inside, but the Indochinese food is excellent (if you can forget that you're paying top dollar for what are essentially Lao, Khmer or Vietnamese street dishes). The Cambodian Tiger Prawns are particularly good. Next door is the equally trendy Bar Opiume.
The original wine drinking and restaurant, Indochine, in the rapidly spreading Indochine Group chain, is situated in Chinatown and is also worth checking out.
