From Singapore Hotels & Singapore Lifestyle

Lap Cheong is a type of Chinese Sausage. The name "Lap Cheong" is the Cantonese Name for it. (腊肠,làcháng in Chinese). It is usually made of pork and it gives diners a chewy feeling and when you bite into it, the sweet taste of the pork's lard oozes out.
