Raffles City Shopping Centre is a retail mall found in the 7-storey podium of the multi-use development of the Raffles City complex which includes Swissotel The Stamford, Raffles The Plaza, and Raffles City Tower office block. The shopping mall is a sprawling 26,000 square metres, spread over four floors on Level 1, 2, 3 and Basement 1. It is a shopper's dream come true.
The layout of the shopping mall is designed with all the shops facing the atrium. The spacious atrium and soothing ambience make the Raffles City Shopping Centre a favourite shopping destination among locals and tourists alike. Exciting atrium and art activities are organised throughout the year to entertain shoppers and tourists.
The mall itself has some 200 shops spread over 290k sqft across four floors. The retail mix includes clothing, bags & shoes, electronics, sports shops and many restaurants, cafes and eateries.
Anchored by Robinsons, a huge department store which dominates three levels, and Jasons Market Place, a gourmet supermarket, it has over 100 specialty Shops, which cater to the needs of both local shoppers and tourists. The mix of establishments is constantly reviewed and updated through careful selection of retailers in terms of quality and variety of goods and services. Its soaring atrium and wide range of shops also includes some decent gift shops like Ho'glund Art Glass and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The Concierge, a first in a shopping mall in Singapore, attends to Shoppers' queries, requests and feedback. The Concierge also offers sale of gift vouchers/postage stamps, tickets to arts events and concerts, complimentary rental of baby strollers and wheelchairs for the handicapped, personal shopper, gift-wrap and courier services, booking of city tours as well as dining and flight reservations.
As an added service to its tenants, Raffles City has Tenant Liaison Executives, a first for a commercial complex in Singapore. Raffles City Shopping Centre is linked directly by a covered walkway to the City Hall MRT Station. At peak hours, more than 100,000 visitors criss-cross the complex daily. - Raffles City is conveniently located and readily accessible. It is barely a twenty minutes drive from the Changi International Airport via the East Coast Parkway Expressway, the scenic coastal expressway.
- The City Hall MRT Station which is at the foot of Raffles City links the financial and commercial centres of Shenton Way and Raffles Place, the shopping malls and the tourist belt at Orchard Road with the residential estates to the north, east and west of Singapore. The station is one of the two interchange stations linking the north-south lines with the east-west lines.
- A covered walkway links the station with Raffles City. Regardless of weather conditions and traffic on the roads, all the facilities in Raffles City are readily accessible and conveniently available under one roof.
